About Me

I am a self-proclaimed copy-editing nerd. I have been involved in the written word throughout the length of my career, as both an editor and a writer. I graduated with a degree in Mass Communication & Journalism from Fresno State, with an emphasis in print. I like to joke about how I literally went to copy-editing boot camp as a Dow Jones News Fund intern.

I’ve had editor positions in several journalism fields, working at newspapers, in public television, and online. I am currently a proofreader for digital marketing at a major beauty retailer, but my work as a book editor is what really reinvigorated my passion for editing. I love helping writers fine-tune their stories and get their vision across without compromising their unique voices and points of view.

I specialize in clean/sweet romance, romantic comedy, and historical romance, but I’ve also edited everything from science fiction novels to bible studies, and even doctoral dissertations. I’ll take on any piece of writing as long as I think I’m a good fit for the project.
